Set out from the apartment into the Almenwelt Lofer mountain area either with a backpack and hiking boots or your bike. You can use the Saalachtal Sommer Card on the Almbahn I+II to take you and your bike quickly up to 1,350 metres in total comfort and free of charge. You can look forward to some pleasant family and themed hiking routes, 7 circular hiking trails, an adventure playground, the "Roter Marmorsee"lLake or the "Auf die Alm" adventure trail. A true biking paradise awaits cyclists with challenging mountain bike routes that lead over the Waidringer Steinplatte, via the Winklmoosalm and even to the Heutal in Unken.

After a hike or a strenuous outing on the bike, what could be more wonderful than jumping into beautiful cool water. Enjoy free entry to the Steinbergbad pool, just three minutes’ walk away, with its giant water slide and a natural stream. For those who prefer the romance of the wild, the Vorderkaser natural bathing area is the ideal spot. And all those who want to combine water with adventure and action should definitely go on a thrilling rafting or canoeing tour on the Saalach.
